Kästle is outfitting the personnel at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships that started in Oberstdorf on Feb. 23. The Austrian ski brand, which has been enjoying a certain revival lately, has decided to invest in the Nordic ski sector, bringing out a new line in 2019 that is being expanded this year with the introduction of a new top model, the RX10 2.0 Skate ski. Reportedly, the ultimate goal is to generate as much revenue with Nordic skiing as with alpine skiing. The Nordic segment represented about 20 percent of its sales of more than 25,000 pairs for the 2020/21 season. More on Kästle and its presence at ISPO Munich Online in our Outdoor Industry Compass.
