Adidas has appointed a new general counsel, Jan Heinemann, who will report to Kasper Rorsted, the company's chief executive. The previous general counsel, Frank Dassler, left the company earlier this year, and Paul Ehrlich had stepped in on an interim basis. Ehrlich will resume his post as general counsel for global brands and the Americas. Heinemann, 45, is coming off 11 years with Bayer, where he was general counsel, head of law, patents & compliance, for North America. He began his career at a top German law firm, Hengler Mueller.
