Adidas has taken Rafinha to court in Amsterdam, according to The Mirror, demanding that the Barcelona midfielder should pay a penalty of €100,000 for each day that he doesn't wear Adidas shoes in the field and Adidas apparel at all media appearances. The 25-year-old Brazilian football player, whose real name is Rafael Alcântara do Nascimento, claims that his sponsorship deal with Adidas expired on July 1. He has been wearing blacked-out Mizuno boots since then. The Big a claims that he did not respond to its requests for extension of the contract, which allowed it to be automatically extended until March 2023.
