Head is expected to announce soon an important sponsorship deal with Novak Djokovic, the 21-year-old Serbian tennis start that won the Masters Cup in Shanghai earlier this month and is now No. 3 on the ATP Tour. His endorsement contract with Wilson should finish just before the Australian Open next January. Head officials declined to comment on the deal or on its terms, which are said to include possibly the rights for members of his family to distribute the brand in Serbia and six other countries in Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Zoan Kojic, who has been distributing the brand in Serbia for 10 years, said he had not yet been notified of the change. He claims that Head has a 60 percent market share in the Serbian market. He also supplies dealers in Croatia and Montenegro.
