Echelon Fitness, the American producer of connected bikes, treadmills, rowers and fitness mirrors, is launching Echelon Fit France and Echelon Fit Germany this month. Patterning them after its business in the U.S., the new entities will be producing live and on-demand coaching programs in each country’s language and at studios in the respective country. French and German speakers, including French Canadians, will be able to follow them from anywhere in the world. Echelon recently received $65 million in funding through Goldman Sachs Growth and a previous investor, North Castle Partners. The company says its customers completed more than one million rides in December 2020, more than in all of 2019.
