Sabic, the chemical group based in Saudi Arabia, has unveiled a new polyolefin elastomer foam solution designed for both athletic and casual footwear. Thanks to their consistency, low density and high-performance properties, the new Fortify C11075DF and Fortify C05075DF – where “DF” stands for Dedicated Footwear – provide stable foamability, resilience and compression set, thereby enabling greater bounce and durability, the company said. The materials can be selectively used for most foaming processes, from compression molding to injection molding.
