Skins has announced its official partnership with Anna Tunnicliffe, the two-time Olympian and leading CrossFit athlete. Tunnicliffe, 30, who was born in England but moved to the U.S. when she was 12, began her career in sailing and later expanded her athletic activities to other disciplines. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, she won a gold medal in the Women's Laser Radial class, bringing to the U.S. the first women's Olympic gold sailing medal in 20 years. In 2012, she made the Olympic team once again in London, where she and her crew finished fifth in the women's Elliot 6m race. Since the Olympics she has also been focusing on CrossFit. Skins will provide her with its latest compression garments to aid her during both training and recovering sessions as part of CrossFit competitions. The Swiss-based brand has long been a supporter of the CrossFit community and partners with numerous top CrossFit athletes.
