There is new evidence that the pace of growth is accelerating in China. The country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 6.8 percent in the third quarter and was up by 6.9 percent for the first nine months of this year. That's well above the 6.5 percent growth target set by the Chinese government. It's clearly ahead of the 6.7 percent increase posted last year, pointing to the likelihood that the Chinese economy will expand in 2017 for the first time on an annual basis since 2010.
