Adidas and Major League Soccer (MLS) have announced that MLS will integrate the Adidas Micoach Elite System league-wide as from the 2013 season, making it the first “smart league” in the world. The data-tracking technology provides coaches, trainers and players with real-time performance metrics including heart rate, acceleration, speed, distance, field position and power.
