For the spring/summer 2021 season, Descente has added Polygiene’s Stays Fresh BioStatic Technology to a number of its men’s and women’s training products for the Chinese market. The Japanese brand will be selling them online and in stores through its local partner, Anta Sports Products. The brand entered China in 2016, establishing a head office in Shanghai. By the end of 2019 Descente China had opened 136 retail stores in mainland China, with reported sales of nearly 1 billion Chinese yuan renminbi (€128m-$155m).
