The Hunters Lodge has been officially opened as the new headquarters of the PGAs of Europe at The Belfry. The opening earlier this month was the second in a series of events to mark 25 years since the association was formed. The office was opened by Pierre Bechmann, the PGAs of Europe's honorary president, and its chairman Sandy Jones. They were surrounded by key personalities from across the association's history and friends from other European golf organizations. The opening of a head office for the PGAs of Europe was described as a way to strengthen the organization. The two-day event included dinner at the Belfry Hotel and 18 holes of golf on the four-time Ryder Cup host course, The Brabazon. The first event to celebrate the anniversary was the Business Club at the Wentworth Club in May. The celebrations will culminate at the 2015 Annual Congress at Turkey's Gloria Hotels & Resorts in December.
