361 Degrees, the Chinese sports footwear and apparel brand, indicates that orders jumped by 11 percent at its spring/summer trade fair compared with the same ordering days last year. The company pointed to increases in volumes as well as average selling prices, following a significant upgrade of its product range. 361 Degrees adds that same-store sales advanced by 4.7 percent for the third quarter, based on information from 3,916 stores that have been open for more than two years. Channel inventories stood at 4.3 times monthly sales at the end of September and average discounts reached 27 percent of the recommended retail price. The brand had 7,156 franchised stores at the end of the quarter. 361 Degrees has revamped many of its stores to carry its main brand as well as Innofashion and 361 Degrees Kids. The number of stores represents a net increase of 16 stores, with a particularly strong trend in the northern region.
