Payment and shopping service provider Klarna has unveiled a number of new innovations on the occasion of its 18th anniversary. The new products include the new Klarna app and smart shopping features that help consumers find and resell the perfect items.

With the Klarna app’s new AI-driven shopping feed, consumers can scroll through highly personalized product recommendations that help them find and shop for items that are relevant to them. No two feeds are the same, with real-time updates and offers that become more customized as they learn more about the user’s preferences.

With Creator Shops, Klarna now offers its growing network of creators the ability to open their own storefronts on klarna.com. With the Klarna Creator Platform, creators can recommend products from thousands of brands, share shoppable video and photo content, and invite their followers to visit their personal stores through their social channels. Through Creator Shops, consumers can find and purchase all of their favorite creators’ product recommendations in one place. With the ability to include links to each item, creators can also increase their affiliate revenue with a single post on any social media platform, allowing their followers to click through to their store and make purchases.

A new resale feature in the Klarna app speeds up the process of creating listings on secondhand marketplaces by pre-filling product details and images. To sell a previous Klarna purchase, consumers simply tap the “Resell” button next to an item from their order history, and they are automatically redirected to a participating re-commerce platform.

Other new tools include Search & Compare, automatic coupons, the ability to save loyalty cards in the app, a C02 tracker, automatic delivery tracking and more.
