Puma and the Australian leak-proof apparel specialist Modibodi have teamed up to launch a range of leak-proof menstrual underwear and activewear designed to help women stay comfortable and active during their periods. Aside from the belief that menstruation shouldn’t keep women from exercising, it’s also in the partners’ best interest to reduce disposable products that pollute the environment and are more expensive in the long run than their reusable, sustainable counterparts.

The Puma x Modibodi collection is designed to be reusable and replace the need for disposable pads, liners and tampons while ensuring that women are comfortable, odor-free and protected. Modibodi’s proprietary Modifier Technology™ achieves this through a soft, moisture- and sweat-wicking merino wool top layer, a quick-drying, absorbent microfiber midlayer that locks in fluid and odor and added waterproof protection in the bottom layer.

As part of the launch, the partners will work with Puma’s Women Win charity to give 500 girls and women in need a package of five briefs. This pack of five will cover a person’s monthly cycle and last up to four years, allowing the person to confidently participate in sports and life without life’s leaks getting in the way.

The first Puma x Modibodi Active Underwear collection will be available in select stores and online at puma.com and modibodi.com in May 2022.
