Kettler is opening a new chapter in its brand history and product development: Under the name “HOI by Kettler,” an innovative line of fitness equipment for home use will be launched in October. The new name also conveys a clear transition: for the first time, Swiss Trisport AG, which obtained the licensing rights to Kettler’s fitness division in 2019, is presenting its own ideas on contemporary home training. The brand name stands for “Home of Innovation” and at the same time builds a bridge to the location of the new company headquarters in Switzerland, where „Hoi” is a popular greeting.
For the new line, Kettler is cooperating with designer Julian Hönig and the London agency Forpeople, who have jointly developed the design as well as the new brand identity. The central concern was to develop a design language that corresponds to a contemporary style of living, said Hönig. To kick things off, Kettler is launching a range of small sports equipment under the new brand in October of this year, which was created in cooperation with an Austrian manufactory. The unifying element is dark walnut wood from sustainable forestry combined with colored accents that convey a reduced and modern look. At the beginning of 2022, the „Frame” bicycle trainer will follow in three different versions.
