360 Padel Group has hired Sascha Beyer as its CEO, as we have learned from CMDsport and confirmed on the blog of one of the group’s divisions, Padel Nuestro.
Beyer served as Tennis-Point’s Managing Director from 2016 to 2023 and its CEO for North America from 2021 to 2023, leading the group’s entry into the US. Since leaving the company, CMD reports, he has had a hand in Tennis-People.com, MoodyEarth (a platform for football agents) and Swing Alemania.
Beyer is also the founder of Sports-Family People, a 12-year-old firm specializing in M&A and e-commerce; the co-founder of Signa AppVentures, where he was Managing Director from 2017 to 2022; and the founder of MediaTech Group, where he was CEO for about four years back in the 1990s. His résumé includes, in addition, executive posts at Avira, Synchronica, the former Pointsec Mobile Technologies (now Checkpoint), Utimaco Safeware and General Electric.
360 Padel Group was acquired in 2022 by Ergon Capital, which changed its name in June 2023 to Apheon. As we reported in February, the group’s full-year revenues for 2023 rose 20 percent year-on-year to exceed €60 million. According to CMD, this year’s sales target is €80 million.
