361 Degrees, one of China’s leading sports apparel and footwear brands, said that its comparable store sales increased by 8.1 percent in the third quarter. The channel inventory reached a level of 4.1 months of stock held for resale. The average retail discount for the period was 23 percent. The numbers are based on a sample of 4,907 stores that have been trading for more than two years. The group had 7,490 outlets around China at the end of September, an increase of 86 stores compared with the same time last year. The independently-run network of 361° Kids stores grew by 112 units to reach a total of 2,440 points of sale. Comparable store sales in a sample of the 361° Kids stores advanced by 8.4 percent.
