361° reports that orders jumped by nearly 11 percent at its spring/summer trade fair last month, compared with the Chinese brand's same order days last year. Average selling prices increased for both apparel and footwear, while the volume of orders advanced for footwear but remained flat for apparel. Orders for the children's range improved moderately. The company said that the wholesale discount remained unchanged at 65 percent and some of the pricing benefits would be passed on to retailers. The spring/summer fair held in August is the largest for 361°, attended by more than 3,000 franchised retailers and distributors. The group already saw orders increase by 8 percent at its winter fair. It said that its retail network was returning to profitability and predicted that the comparable sales growth enjoyed by retailers since the last quarter of 2013 should be sustainable – it should even gain momentum in the months ahead.
