A French court in Lille has rejected a request by Oxylane, parent company of Décathlon, for a preliminary injunction banning Go Sport and Intersport from selling their self-deployable tents. The leading French retailer had argued that their tents were infringing on its patents on Quechua's so-called “2-Seconds” tent. A spokesman for Oxylane says it is lodging an appeal against the court's decision.
