A member of the European Parliament, Hannu Takkula, presented the key elements of a parliamentary report on the “Integrated approach to Sport Policy: Good Governance, accessibility, integrity” at a meeting organized at the House of Sport in Brussels on Aug. 29. The Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry, Fesi, is fully endorsing the European Parliament's initiative in the sports sector, of which Takkula is the rapporteur. The report will feed into the European Commission's evaluation of its sports policy, which will be conducted in 2017. Its report will be available to the public in October on the website of the parliament's Education and Culture Committee.
