A new French fair for racquet sports is planned to be held for the first time in Lyon, the fief of Babolat, on Jan. 11-12, 2014, targeting the trade as well as consumer. It is led by a tennis coach, Philippe Tissier, who worked for Décathlon in the past. Marc Assous, organizer of a golf show in Paris, had sought to combine it with a tennis show, but it did not work out. He recently sold the rights to the Paris golf show to another manager, Paul Fitussi.
