A new international advisory committee has been set up to further develop the offer of the Ispo Beijing show, bringing it more in line with the needs of the market, exhibitors and visitors. At its first meeting on the eve of the 15th edition of the show, held on Jan. 16-19, it was decided to add new segments such as sports fashion and travel. More than 400 exhibitors representing 682 brands participated in the well-established fair, attracting about 30,000 trade visitors and key opinion leaders – as it did last year, when 745 brands were on display. Football was featured for the first time, with well-known German players challenging visitors to strike goals. Among other conferences, the Sports Industry Forum focused on new investment opportunities in the world's second-largest sports market, also with regard to digitalization.
