A Spanish court has dismissed a request by JD Sports Fashion for precautionary measures against a local chain, Oteros Sport, which alleged similarities between the logos and the corporate identity of its new Oteros Sneakers For All stores and those of its own stores. The court accepted Oteros' argument that it had developed the visual elements of its new chain based on a complex study, with surveys and group tests. There are currently nine Oteros Sneakers For All Stores in Spain, with two others to follow in the next couple of months.
