A Swedish online sports retailer, Sportamore, reported a sharp rise in sales for 2012, but its operating profit remained negative, according to Sportfack. Total revenues for 2012 amounted to 153.3 million Swedish kronor (€18.1m-$24.3m), up by 125 percent from 2011. The operating loss increased by almost 3 million SEK to SEK 14.9 million (€1.75m-$2.37m). Inventories continue to be viable, with less than 20 percent coming from previous seasons. Opened in May 2010, the Sportamore website currently gets more than 1.5 million visits per month.
