Absolute Run Kaufmann will open in Heilbronn, Germany, on Feb. 22, 2024. Behind the freshly converted store are Sport 2000 GmbH and partner Schuhhaus Kaufmann. The store in the city center, with 200 sqm of retail space, is the first Absolute Run store in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The Managing Director of Schuhhaus Kaufmann is Johannes Nölscher.
Sport 2000 aims to support its running specialists’ strategic positioning and future orientation with the Absolute Run concept. Experts at Sport 2000’s HQ closely support the retailers and benefit from the successful community approach and wide-reaching marketing campaigns. Sport 2000’s Absolute Run concept envisages that the space in the basement of Schuhaus Kaufmann in Heilbronn is wholly dedicated to running. A running track connects the entrance area with the basement, where customers can thoroughly test shoes. A high-speed camera and 3D foot measurement provide additional technical support during consultations. After the store has opened, weekly 5K community runs, monthly events and info nights will be offered in the store. With Asics, Hoka, Brooks, Karhu, New Balance, Saucony and On, Absolute Run Kaufmann will feature all relevant running brands and offer the largest specialized shoe and apparel range in the region.

Schuhhaus Kaufmann is a fourth-generation family business that has existed in Heilbronn for 100 years. It is a long-standing partner of the ANWR Group and the first affiliated partner to implement the Absolute Run concept.
Further new Absolute Run stores are planned for this year in Aschaffenburg, Düsseldorf (both Germany), and Amsterdam in The Netherlands. The objective is to secure over 20 additional retail partners for the specialist concept in Europe by 2025.
