Accell Group has sold the e-bike development brands Protanium and Diavelo to a new Swiss company. Protanium GmbH, based in Zurich and headed by Karin Vogelsanger as chief executive and managing partner, has been founded for this take-over. Protanium GmbH will continue to operate the Diavelo e-bike brand. The company co-founder, Brian Hoehl, left the company before the change of ownership. Protanium was founded in Denmark in 2006 by Brian Hoehl and Lars Munksoe. Accell acquired a majority share in Protanium in 2008.
