According to the Wall Street Journal, Under Armour has fired Ryan Kuehl, senior vice president of global sports marketing, and Walker Jones, senior director of sports marketing. Both were part of the inner circle of Kevin Plank, the founder of the company. The company has made no comment, citing its confidentiality policy on personnel matters, but the ousters follow an earlier report by the Journal, on Nov. 8, alleging that certain male executives had demeaned women in the office and been charging to their expense accounts visits to strip clubs in the company of professional athletes. A former NFL player, Kuehl was hired in 2009 and promoted to vice president in 2016. He was in charge of approving expenses and allocating funds. Jones had previously worked for Under Armour until 2014, when he left to join CAA Sports. He was rehired in 2016.
