Stockholm-based Active Brands Group (ABG), which owns a broad portfolio of brands in the sports and pharmaceutical segments, said it has hired New Zealander/Swede Rohan Callander to expand the DTC side of its brands to their full potential. Previously, the company had primarily focused on bringing sports, health and other consumer products to the global marketplace through sports and retail chains. Callander already started his new position at ABG in Stockholm on June 1. “Rohan’s background as a successful entrepreneur within the natural health segment will be a great asset to us and the entire ABG business,” commented Hélène Briggert, Chief Commercial Officer at ABG.
About a year ago, ABG acquired board and ski brand ColourWear.
