Adidas Action Sports launched its new snowboard collection during Ispo through a side event in a former garage of the German postal service in Munich. The collection includes three snowboard boots and about 60 other items including snow goggles and a variety of garments. The Adidas snowboard team was presented during the event, serving as a kickoff for a dedicated marketing campaign that will run from August to December 2013 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the U.K. and Scandinavia, followed by snowboard events sponsored by Adidas. The line will be available in stores from September, using a different retail channel from the one normally used by Adidas. In the U.S. the new snowboard collection was presented during the SIA Snow Show in Denver, just prior to the Ispo show.
