Adidas Golf is launching what it describes as the first fully asymmetrical golf shoe, the Asym Energy Boost. The distinctive right and left shoes are meant to guide weight transfer, stability and power through the swing. Adidas used heat map and force plate pressure studies to measure the different vertical and horizontal forces for each foot during the swing. The product incorporates the Boost cushioning technology that the brand launched with running footwear two years ago. The Asym Energy Boost exists in both left and right-handed versions.
