Adidas has announced the acquisition of a new building next to its campus in North Portland, Oregon as part of an expansion of its North American operations. It will accommodate about 150 employees on 25,000 square feet of office space, adding to the five existing buildings of the local Adidas Village. The staff at Adidas North America has risen from 850 to 1,200 people since last year, and it reportedly has job openings for an additional 100. There has been growth in nearly every department including design, marketing and operations.
