Adidas has filed a lawsuit against Puma in the federal court of Portland, Oregon, charging that the four stripes on the Empower Vigor 1 Camo FG cleated shoe create confusion in the market with its own three-stride trademark. The stripes on Puma's shoe appear as extensions of the lacing system, but don't run all the way down to the outsole. They have nothing to do with Puma's form strip logo.
