Adidas has hailed the end of the NBA's lockout, which should help it and other companies, including Nike and Under Armour, to boost sales of their new basketball products. The NBA will resume its play on Christmas Day, kicking off an abbreviated 66-game season that will not include a previously planned match between the New Jersey Nets and the Orlando Magic team in London next March, in preparation for the Olympic Games. Another beneficiary is probably going to be Foot Locker, which generates about 35 percent of its revenues from basketball-related products, although the management recently minimized the impact of the NBA lockout, stating that basketball is still in fashion anyway.
