Adidas has launched the AM4LA shoe, the latest release from its AM4 (Adidas Made For) series. The shoe, which is made at Adidas' Speedfactory facility in Atlanta, this time utilizes yarns derived from marine plastic recovered from coastal areas. The AM4LA, tailored to the streets of Los Angeles, follows the releases of the Adidas Made For London (AM4LDN), which was made at its Speedfactory facility in Ansbach, Germany, and of the Adidas Made for New York City (AM4NYC), manufactured at its Speedfactory in Atlanta. The new AM4LA is the first Speedfactory-made shoe to utilize Parley Ocean Plastic, as part of its partnership with Parley for the Oceans. Besides a 100 percent recycled upper, the shoe features engineered ventilation zones and Adidas' Boost midsole.
