Adidas has launched the Tango app for the football community, and as a rallying point for participants in the Tango League, a grassroots football competition. The group said that the app became available on Sept. 3 in the U.S., the U.K., Germany, France and Spain, to help football enthusiasts prove and improve their skills and creativity, and potentially grow their own fan base. Each of the users will have his or her own player card, representing their progress in the community. The challenge feature enables them to show off their skills, compete against friends and unlock rewards. The app will allow players to create teams for the Tango league and to sign up for events. Another feature will provide constant news updates from the league as well as Adidas products and other items relevant to the community.
