Adidas has replaced Nike as sponsor of the Russian Football Union through 2018, outfitting all teams in the organization including the country’s Olympic football team. The new uniforms made their debut in Moscow on Sept. 10, when the Russian National Team played Wales in a World Cup 2010 qualifying match. The new jerseys will be available at retail next Spring. Adidas and the RFU, which comprises 2.5 million players, will collaborate on promoting football in the country.
