Adidas has reported that its websites were the target of a criminal cyber attack earlier this month. However, the group's early investigations showed no evidence that any consumer information had been compromised, as happened with Sony on a huge scale earlier this year. When Adidas discovered the attack on Nov. 3, it quickly shuttered its main websites, adidas.com, reebok.com, miCoach.com and adidas-group.com, as well as several regional online stores, while launching its investigation. The company has since put in place extra security measures for its websites.
