Adidas has sued Marc Jacobs in an Oregon court for the designer's use of four parallel stripes along the sleeves of some knitted garments. Adidas claims that they are confusingly similar to the three stripes used in two garments designed in cooperation with Yohji Yamamoto for its own Y-3 line.
