Adidas has unveiled an “intelligent” football boot, the Adizero F50. Described as the fastest boot ever developed by the brand and as the ultimate digital training tool, it houses a Micoach Speed_Cell in the outsole that captures movements and measures key performance data such as actual, average and maximum speed, number of sprints, distance, steps and stride rates. The embedded memory stores all the measurements during a game or a training session and transmits the data to a tablet or a computer.
