Adidas is reportedly setting special conditions, including a long duration, for a new contract with the Real Madrid football team that will replace the present one, set to expire in June 2012. According to reports, the Spanish team is asking for an annual fee of €50 million, which would make it the most expensive football property for Adidas after the German national team. An important motivation to continue for Adidas is reportedly the high quantity of Madrid replica shirts sold every year, higher than those of the Barcelona and Manchester United teams sponsored by Nike.
