Adidas and the French label Balenciaga, part of the Kering group, have confirmed a collection of men’s and women’s apparel, accessories and footwear that merges the sports brand’s heritage looks from the late 90ies and early 2000s with the haute couture label’s distinctive aesthetics. Balenciaga is known for its disruptive design vision and has made headlines with its ”fully destroyed” model of the ”Paris” canvas sneaker sold for €1,450 earlier this year.
