Adidas has placed its partnership with Kanye West “under review,” as our colleagues at the American edition of SGI report. The sportswear company has in the past spoken in the same terms of deals subsequently ended with Ashworth, TaylorMade and Reebok. This is a response to West’s badmouthing last month of Adidas and other brands, such as Gap, with which he has similar deals.

Estimates of the Ye brand’s contribution to Adidas’ revenues vary from 7 to 8 percent. West has been collaborating with Adidas for the past nine years. Their current contract, signed in 2016, won’t expire for another four years.
