Adidas will not renew the lease on its 1,100-m2 flagship Paris store on Rue de Rivoli. The store, which opened in 2001, stopped making money in 2009, following the closure of a big neighboring department store, La Samaritaine, which reduced the levels of consumer traffic in the area. They have never increased since. The company will instead search for new premises in the French capital, complementing its other big store on the Champs Elysées.
