After cancelling the January edition of its show and declaring his company insolvent, Karl-Heinz Müller, the maverick organizer of Bread & Butter announced plans to stage a summer edition of the show on July 2-4, but then changed his mind and said it would run on Jan. 7-9, coinciding with Panorama and other fashion fairs in Berlin. As before, the fair will be in the former Tempelhof airport of Berlin, with which B&B has a long-term contract. B&B is offering to charge lower booth rental fees to exhibitors that will sign up before April 15. The show is also offering free booth space to young and creative firms in the fields of fashion, sports, health and wellbeing, beauty, living food, mobility, online communication, and business innovation. They will be selected by a jury at the end of May. The insolvency administrator, Christian Graf Brockdorff, points out that the implementation of the show is financially covered, but makes no mention on the money that exhibitors had advanced for booking their stands at the January session of the show. Reportedly, their claims should be addressed by next month.
