After its acquisition of Costa, the American producer of sports sunglasses, Essilor International, the world's largest supplier of ophthalmic lenses, has announced the takeover of Suntech Optics of Canada. Through a subsidiary called Bugaboos, the latter sells Ryders Eyewear, a line of performance sunglasses for mountain bike enthusiasts (more on this in Eyewear Intelligence)
