After regaining their control from its previous European licensee, X-Technology is pushing hard against fake shops and counterfeiters of its X-Bionic and X-Socks brands. A dedicated department of its Swiss head office in Wollerau has managed to close down seven fraudulent websites in the first three months of this year. The company is urging consumers, retailers and distributors to ensure that they are buying the authentic products, in particular by checking out the URL of the online shop and by using the store locator on www.x-bionic.com. X-Technology has made more than 800 patent registrations worldwide for its products.
