After the success of the first WFSGI Manufacturers Forum in Taipei last December (see SGI Europe no. 24-38+39 of Dec. 9), the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry has decided to organize a new one on Nov. 12-14 in Leipzig, Germany. It has already started soliciting bookings for the convention, limiting the number of participants to a total of 200. The event will include a visit to the nearby Porsche factory and interactive sessions. One such session with Porsche Consulting on lean manufacturing was one of the highlights of last December's event.
