Albany International has reported a 15.5 percent increase in sales of Primaloft Products to $6.48 million for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, with a rise of 12.1 percent in constant currencies. They were again driven by stronger penetration in new European markets and by the development of new products. The segment's operating income dropped slightly to $1,234,000 for the period. The group's total revenues rose by 9.5 percent to $250.0 million and its net income grew sharply to $16.7 million, thanks in part to foreign currency revaluation gains.
