Alipay+, the mobile payment and digitalization technology arm of Ant International, is set to kick off an offline football carnival spanning Asia, aligning with Ant International’s global campaign for Uefa Euro 2024. Commencing on April 26 and spanning two months across four major Asian cities, the festivities aim to captivate the Asian fan base. Featuring pop-up booths showcasing a replica of the Henri Delaunay trophy and Euro 2024 souvenirs, along with activities like goal shooting challenges, the carnival seeks to offer fans opportunities to win Euro 2024 tickets.

The pop-up booths will be stationed in Bangkok, Thailand at Centralworld from April 26 to May 7, at Ion in Singapore from April 28 to May 11, at Sunway Velocity in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from May 3 to May 26, and at Hyundai Mall in Seoul, South Korea from June 6 to June 26. Travelers to these locations who make payments with their home e-wallets via Alipay+, or local users of Alipay+ partner wallets, will have the chance to participate in the challenges after completing eligible transactions. Rewards include limited-edition merchandise and tournament tickets, including tickets to the finals.

A total of 15 Alipay+ partner e-wallets and banking apps, spanning various regions including China, Hong Kong, Macao, Malaysia, the Philippines, Mongolia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Italy, are eligible for participation. As an Official Partner of the tournament, Ant International launched its global campaign, “Goal Beyond,” in March across its businesses – Alipay+, Antom, and WorldFirst – to engage fans worldwide leading up to the tournament. Alipay+ serves as the exclusive Official Payments Partner of Uefa Euro 2024.
