All Good Things, a UK-based independent retailer founded in 2019 selling exclusively used, torn or repaired clothing, announced that it has received a £2.5 million (€2.93m) equity investment. The funding was provided by Souter Investments in conjunction with a broad range of experienced former retail employees, including Ben Barnett (former CEO, TFG London), Helen Williamson (former Managing Director, Whistles), Charlie Atterton (former CEO, Jigsaw), John Egan (former CEO, Dune) and Lee Harlow (former Managing Director, TFG London).
In the last 12 months, All Good Things has partnered with over 200 forward-thinking fashion brands from the UK and Europe who are looking to integrate greater sustainability into their supply chain. These partnerships provide a sustainable, physical home for damaged merchandise as well as used clothing returned by customers for recycling. By giving unsold clothing a second chance to be purchased brand new and giving used clothing a new life, All Good Things reduces the amount of unworn clothing that ends up in landfills and extends the life of each piece. Right now, there aren’t too many sports brands – Russell Athletic being one of them – listed on the retailer’s website, but the selection could grow.
Since opening, excellent customer reviews on Google and Trustpilot have praised the high-quality clothing, beautiful store design and impeccable customer service, whether a customer is buying new or used. With the new investment, All Good Things will be able to bring its successful concept to a wider audience.
All Good Things is chaired by Barnett, former CEO of TFG London’s brand portfolio (Hobbs, Whistles and Phase Eight), and is led by an experienced management team including Karen Fuller (former Retail Director of premium UK fashion brand Jigsaw), Keith Bristow (former Head of Global Media Networks at BT) and Sonia Chopra (former Senior Buyer at Brand Alley).
